Inspired Content Creator
About Me
I am a content creator with a Bachelor of the Arts in Communication and Public Relations. My personal and paraprofessional experiences and core understanding of digital media make me an ideal fit for a marketing, multimedia and public relations role in any company.
My beginnings stemmed from work in Journalism for Hinsdale Central High School's Yearbook El Diablo. In my two years working in the Sports Section, our publications won National Academic Scholastic Awards from Columbia.
My journalism and multimedia further continued as a Sports Reporter and eventually editor for the Carthage College Newsmagazine "The Current". In my four years, I also had the opportunity to work as an Athletic Communications Undergraduate Assistant covering swimming, diving, and water polo at Carthage.
This work inspired my Senior Thesis which was the development of an entire website dedicated to all things related to the 2017 Men’s Soccer Team for which I supplied one hundred percent of the content. My Thesis was featured in the Carthage College 2018 Spring Achievement Showcase. Further building upon these experiences, I used my knowledge of website development to help a local business expand their brand while reaching new clientele.
My ultimate goal is to continue to work in journalism multimedia at an athletic capacity be it for an online news outlet or for a collegiate institution. However, I also have a strong desire to work in multimedia and public relations for national and local companies. Thank you for your consideration.
