Laura: Hi I’m Laura Cox from Acupuncture and Wellness of Wisconsin! Today on the show, we’re going to focus on Spring Cleaning and cleanses! There can be a lot of stereotypes surrounding cleanses, so I want to demystify cleanses and how they can benefit you!

[Laura presents a variety of different juices on her desk]

Laura: Some of these juices provide an extra boost of either a single or multiple vitamins and antioxidants. While a stereotype of some of these juices has included no food at all, that is actually false. You are still allowed to eat, it's just a matter of prioritizing when as you are taking in a highly concentrated amount of various vitamins at a time.

[Laura presents the mint and lemon water]

Laura: Another stereotype around cleanses is that all are exclusively juices which can be found at stores or healthy restaurants. A lot of the time, you can find these products to make your own water or juice at home like I did with this mint and lemon water. I combined those two ingredients with ginger and placed them with water in my refrigerator overnight.

[Laura sets down water and brings her face back to the camera]

Laura: I will actually be looking into a Spring cleanse which you can follow daily on my YouTube Vlog! will report back once it has wrapped up, for all my viewers too! For more health and lifestyle tips, be sure to check back here every week for more Wellness Wednesday videos! This has been Laura Cox of Acupuncture and Wellness of Wisconsin, inviting you to live well, choose well, and be well.
