Laura: Hi I’m Laura Cox from Acupuncture and Wellness of Wisconsin! Today is National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Day, so on this edition of Wellness Wednesday, we’re going to talk about how to be healthy during the allergy season. It’s the time of the year when seasons are changing and for some, that means experiencing a change in your body, particularly sinuses and lungs. What some people may not know, is that not all seasonal allergies are created equal, and it's important to respond to what your body needs rather than what you think you want.

For example, allergy medications are great for when you need to be outdoors, but if you feel consistently congested, nasal sprays can help your airflow more efficiently.

And as always, be sure to have tissues on the go, as you may never know when you or a friend will need them. By responding to these needs, you can enjoy the great outdoors without the worry of allergies getting the best of you.
